Vairamuthi Counter-Reply To Chinmayi
It's been all in the news that popular singer Chinmayi Sripada who has been the voice for Samantha since the time the actress debuted in the film industry with the film Ye Maya Chesave making charges of sexual harassment on the National Award Winning lyricist and Padma awardee Vairamuthu. As soon as she made the allegations, there was a huge support for her on the social media. Three other women also opened up about the same and alleged that Vairamuthu harassed her sexually. In this context, we have Vairamuthu's counter-reply to Chinmayi where he neither accepted nor denied the allegations made on him.
Vairamuthu counter attacked these allegations and posted a tweet in Tamil which meant, "The disgrace that spreads the reputation of the well-known people is now all over the country. For the most part I have been constantly humiliated; This is one of them. I do not regard anything out of truth; The time will tell you the truth."
Chinmayi Sripada immediately quoted the tweet and called the star lyricist a LIAR. Her husband Rahul Ravindran also posted his opinion saying that his time is up.
"Why am I not surprised he doesn’t talk about the specific allegations from any of the girls. Doesn’t deny anything. What Chinmayi faced is much less compared to the other accounts. And obviously no apology either. Just playing the ‘victim of slander’ card. Don’t know if the lack of denial shows he has a trace of conscience and makes him better than others accused... or if it makes it worse. Whatever it is.... I don’t want to be the judge or jury. Am just happy no other girl will suffer again at his hands. Time’s up."
