Anasuya eyeing female-centric movie?

Update: 2018-10-15 05:30 IST

It seems that Anasuya Bharadwaj wants to join the female-centric bandwagon. After doing special appearances in films like ‘Kshanam’ and ‘Rangasthalam,’, the pretty damsel is keen to do a female-centric film to cut down on guest roles. “It is true that she is listening to scripts and will give her nod to a female-centric movie very soon. Looking for a titular role that would suit her image and talent in a big-ticket female-centric movie,” says a source, close to the actress.

The TV host-turned-actress seems to have gained confidence to test waters in an author-backed role. “Right now, she is doing pivotal roles in the much-awaited films like ‘Yatra’ and ‘F2’, albeit in special appearances. She is flooded with special roles but wants only to the best among the lot,” the source points out.

Probably, the lanky actress wants to move to the next level by carrying a film on her slender shoulders and carve a niche for herself in the industry. Already, Nayantara and Anushka are ruling the roost in the genre and now Anasuya is all set to join the party. Although, it sounds challenging, it will be a dauting task for Anasuya to become a crowd-puller. Lets wait and watch.
