Vijay on a new mission

 After blockbuster ‘Adhirindhi’(‘Mersal’ in Tami), Tamil star Vijay proved that he can pull in crowds in two Telugu states. Apparently, Telugu audience should be looking forward to his next big-ticket dubbed Tamil film ‘Sarkar’ set for Diwali in Andhra and Telangana. The rights have been bagged by Ashok Vallabhaneni and it is now gearing up for a massive release. Besides Vijay, director Murugadoss is quite popular among Telugu audience with hits like ‘Ghajini’ and ‘Thupaki’ and actor-director combination raised lot of expectations around the political thriller.

Touted to be a action adventure, the film has two heroines – Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar –written jointly by B Jeyamohan and AR Murugadoss with the latter wielding the megaphone. It may be noted here that the theatrical rights of `Sarkar’ in Kerala and Karnataka states have also been sold out for a big price.
