Plagiarism issue solved for 'Sarkar'
Ace director AR Murugadoss joined hands with star hero Vijay and is coming up with a political film 'Sarkar'. The movie is slated for a grand release on November 6th on the occasion of Diwali.
But the movie landed in a plagiarism controversy which shocked the fans. Young writer Varun Rajendran alleged that 'Sarkar' is inspired from his writing 'Sengol'. He even filed a petition in Madras High Court. Murugadoss slammed Varun Rajendran saying they are his cheap tricks and foolish attempts for fame. As per the latest updates, director AR Murugadoss and the makers Sun Pictures agreed to compromise with the writer Varun Rajendran. The issue has been resolved and Madras High Court has been informed about this.
Keerthy Suresh played the female lead in the movie whereas Varalaxmi Sarathkumar appears in a crucial role. Sun Pictures bankrolled this project.
