Suresh Babu backs out of TS-centric Dorasani?

Update: 2018-11-02 05:30 IST

Andhra-born filmmaker Suresh Babu has reportedly backed out of his maiden TS-centric film ‘Dorasani,’ a love story revolving around a low-caste youth and girl from a feudal family in the Telangana region. The film also marks the debut of Anand Devarakonda and Shivatmika, brother of Vijay Deverakonda and second daughter of Dr Rajasekhar respectively.

Directed jointly by KVR Mahendra and produced by Yash Ragineni and Madhura Sreedhar Reddy, the film rides high on content. “A few months back, Suresh Babu initiated the project and even announced to the media that he was making ‘Dorasani’ among other films. As he was taking time to take the film onto the sets by raising lot of doubts in the script, the director and actors were extremely worried,” says an industry source.

Anand Devarakonda’s father was reluctant to waste any time and urged Madhura Sreedhar to start the project since it has ‘enough potential’ to launch his son as a hero in Telugu filmdom. “Now the shooting is almost 50% complete and both the debutant actors Anand and Shivatmika are doing a great job and the director is making an emotional and heart-wrenching love story,” the source adds. Now that the film is shaping up well, we have to see whether Suresh Babu will re-associate himself with the project or not.
