Excited to be able to work with Kartik in the remake of 'Kirik Party': Jacqueline

Jacqueline Fernandez says she is excited to work with Kartik Aaryan in the remake of the south film, 'Kirik Party'.

Jacqueline interacted with media on Friday at the launch of Swiss Watchmaker brand 'Chopard's new 'Happy Sports Collection' on their 25th Anniversary.

The 'Race 3' actress will be seen next in the Hindi remake of South film, 'Kirik Party' when asked about the film, she said, "I am excited to be able to work with Kartik and all we have also got a fantastic director on board. But we are still in the scripting process so hopefully, soon we should be able to start shooting."

Kirik Party directed by Rishab Shetty will now be helmed by  Abhishek Jain. Whereas Kartik will be seen stepping into Rakshit Shetty’s shoes, while Jacqueline will play Rashmika Mandanna’s role.

When asked if Fernandez has seen the original film she said, "I have seen the Kannada version which was unbelievable, I really enjoyed it. When they told me they were remaking it I first went and saw it, and thought this is definitely something I want to do. And Kartik is also very excited about just the fact that we are able to make such an amazing film."

With the wedding season at full swing in the film industry, Jacqueline said she is excited to attend Priyanka's wedding.  "Yeah, I am really excited I think this is such an amazing year for the industry. first Sonam got married then Anushka Deepika and now Priyanka. I think it's such a great thing you know marriage and finding the love of your life and everyone is just so happy. It's just fun times."

Jacqueline will also be seen in the Dharma production 'Drive' when asked if the film has found a released date yet, she said, "so far we are actually still shooting patchwork and we are trying to make sure the film releases early next year."
 
Jacqueline Fernandez was last seen in 'Race 3' alongside, Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala.
