No takers for Madhavan?
Even though Tamil stars like Aadhi Pinisetty and Arjun got film offers again in T-town for the second time, handsome actor Madhavan hasn’t signed any film after the debacle of ‘Savyasachi.’ “He did a good job and his suave looks made the villainy role stylised and impressive in ‘Savyasachi’ but he hasn’t signed any new film yet, ” says director Samudra, who feels that his soft image of ‘Sakhi’ is going against him.
“He may get good roles, but it will be difficult for him to get baddy roles,” he adds. In fact, Madhavan, prior to ‘Savyasashi’s’ release, was hoping that his role will get him more offers. “I had never spoken in Telugu and I never played a negative character. It was a new experience for me. I am certainly open to act in more Telugu films.” The ‘Sakhi’ star has to wait for some more time to sign another Telugu film. However, B-town villains like Ashutosh Rana and Sonu Sood are repeated by T-town filmmakers.
