Will be very happy to take a little break and go somewhere after Marnikarnika's release: Kangana
Kangana Ranaut who is gearing up for the release of 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' says she has been working so long on the film that she wishes to take a little break after the release.
Ranaut interacted with media on Friday at the launch of Swiss Watchmaker brand 'Chopard's new 'Happy Sports Collection' on their 25th Anniversary.
When asked about the film's post-production progress, Kangana said, "We are working on the war zone in the post-production there is a lot of VFX involved but thankfully by the grace of God our deadlines are under control. But it's an amazing experience. After 25th Jan I will be very happy to take a little break and go somewhere because I have been working for so long on this."
The anticipated release 'Manikarnika' is an epic biographical film based on the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi.
It is being produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain & Nishant Pitti. Kangana Ranaut will be seen playing the titular role of Rani Laxmibai in the film that also stars Ankita Lokhande in a pivotal role.
The makers have also managed to land a solo release on 25th Jan 2019. When asked about the same, Ranaut said. "I just feel that for us it's very important that we think about the ones because of whom we are living in a free country and a free reign. We should remember and thank our heroes on the days like Republic day and Independence day so this date is very important for us. We are very happy to have a solo release on that day."
Kangan in the coming year will also be seen in films like 'Mental Hai Kya' with Rajkummar Rao and as a kabaddi player in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's next directorial titled, 'Panga'.
