Meet Jithu aka Vijay Sethupathi from Petta
We all have seen Rajinikanth and Simran from the forthcoming mega movie, now the makers unveil the character poster of Jithu played by Vijay Sethupathi.
The official handle of Sun Pictures dropped the first look poster on social media. They captioned it, “@VijaySethuOffl as #Jithu #PettaCharacterPoster @rajinikanth @karthiksubbaraj @anirudhofficial @Nawazuddin_S @SimranbaggaOffc @trishtrashers @SasikumarDir”
Vijay Sethupathi's character in Rajinikanth’s Petta has been revealed. The actor’s character name is Jithu in this film and he’s seen holding on to a smoking gun while his body is wrapped in a shawl. Jithu also has bloody wounds on his face and the expression on his face is quite hard to read - is he hiding or has he emerged victorious?
Recently the first single, ‘Marana Mass’, from the film Petta was released. The song went viral within hours of its release.
The song video also gave a little sneak peek into Rajini’s name in this film - Kaali. A peppy dance number, the song begins with Anirudh’s voice followed by SP Balasubrahmanyam’s.
Produced by Sun Pictures, Petta is being directed by Karthik Subbaraj of Pizza fame. The film also stars Bobby Simha, Vijay Sethupathi, Sasikumar, Simran, Trisha, Malayalam actor Manikandan R Achari and Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles.
