Meet Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Abhishek Bachchan And Jackie Shroff From Mowgli
Netflix retelling of Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book, this Andy Serkis-directed venture follows on the heels of Disney’s 2016 version of the tale of Mowgli. The film has opened with rave reviews and Bollywood celebrities unveil their character posters on social media.
The famous Jungle Book characters – Baloo, Bagheera, Shere Khan and wolf Nisha – dubbed by Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit Nene, just dropped their character poster from the film.
Veteran actor Anil Kapoor, who has dubbed the part of Baloo, the bear, took to his Twitter profile and shared a character poster. He wrote, “Baloo has prepared Mowgli for the worst but is he ready for the jungle? #Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, now streaming @Netflix_IN”
Talented Abhishek Bachchan plays Bagheera. He wrote, “Push has come to shove. How far will Bagheera go to save his little brother? #Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, now streaming @Netflix_IN #Bagheera”
Jackie Shorff is known for his goody-goody characters on-screen, but for the first time he has dubbed for the villainous Shere Khan in the film. He wrote, “With Shere Khan on the prowl, the jungle is no longer safe. #Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, now streaming @netflix_in”
And finally the Indian wolverine Madhuri Dixit Nene, she has lent her voice for wolf named Nisha. She wrote, “She’s brought Mowgli into the pack but the jungle isn’t as welcoming. #MowgliLegendoftheJungle, now streaming @NetflixIndia”
Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle is directed by Andy Serkis with a screenplay by Callie Kloves, based on stories collected in All the Mowgli Stories by Rudyard Kipling. The film stars Rohan Chand as Mowgli, Matthew Rhys, and Freida Pinto.
