Dan And Mauji Will Always Remain Close To My Heart Says Varun Dhawan
Actor Varun Dhawan says he is grateful for the love and appreciation he received for Mauji and Dan, his characters from October and Sui Dhaaga, and now he ready for 2019.
Year 2018 has been great for actor Varun Dhawan as his two releases October and Sui Dhaaga, has set him apart in terms of content and depth. The actor has won critical and commercial success for the films and expressed his gratefulness as the year is coming to an end.
Varun Dhawan just took to his Twitter profile and wrote, “Thank u so much this year for the love you guys gave to #October and #suidhaaga. Mauji and Dan will always remain very close to me. Thank u for making me brave enough to explore these characters #2018 learnt a lot about myself. 2019 o boy already got me moving”
October is a slice of life romantic drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar, it also starred Banita Sandhu, and Gitanjali Rao. The film depicts the life of a hotel-management intern who takes care of his comatose fellow intern unconditionally and unconventionally.
As for Sui Dhaaga, actor Varun shared screen space with Anushka Sharma for the first time in the social drama film directed by Sharat Katariya. The film is about a young couple in rural India who start their own small-scale clothing business.
Next year, Varun Dhawan will be seen in Kalank, a period drama film directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios. It stars Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Kunal Khemu, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. The film is scheduled for release on 19 April 2019.
