Nithya Menen Unveils Kolaambi Teaser

Renowned Malayalam director Rajeev Kumar is back with Kolaambi, a musical thriller starring Nithya Menen, Rohini, Renji Panicker and Dilish Pothan.

Actor and Singer Nithya Menen dropped the first teaser from the film on her social media profile. She captioned it, “Kolaambi...This is going to be a very unique, nostalgic, musical experience..:)) #kolaambi @resulp @dop_ravivarman @TKRajeevKumar2”

Kolambi has some of the best technicians on-board including the Oscar-winning sound engineer Resul Pookutty and cinematographer Ravi Varman.

Director TK Rajeev Kumar stepped into the film industry as an assistant director with My Dear Kuttichathan, which was India’s first ever 3D film. He then went on to direct the Kamal Haasan starrer Chanakyan, Pavithram, Thacholi Varghese Chekavar, Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu, Oru Naal Varum, etc.

He has won numerous awards in his long career including the National Award for the Best Environmental Film 2000 for Jalmarmaram, the Kerala State Film Awards, Filmfare Awards etc.

Nithya is awaiting the release of Pranaa. Directed by VK Prakash, Pranaa is being produced by Suresh Raj, Praveen S Kumar and Anita Raj. The film has been scripted by Rajesh Jayaraman with P C Sreeram cranking the camera and the Oscar-winning sound engineer Resul Pookkutty being the sound designer while Louis Banks scores the music.
