Kamal Haasan defers shoot due to rashes?
Seasoned star Kamal Haasan has reportedly cancelled the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Bharateeyudu 2’ in mid-January due to rashes. Perhaps, due to bad weather, as he was travelling to various places or due to infection, the ‘Nayakan’ star developed red marks on his face and hands and urged director Shankar to defer the shooting. “It is true that the January shooting has been cancelled and the regular shooting will commence from February onwards,” says a source from Chennai.
Probably, the national-award winning actor didn’t want to take any chances since he is pinning big hopes on this sequel to ‘Bharateeyudu’ to regain his winning streak after a series of duds like ‘Cheekati Rajyam’ and ‘Vishwaroopam 2’. “Kamal has almost put his other film ‘Sabhash Naidu’ on the back burner as he believes that director Shankar’s political thriller would fetch him a much-needed blockbuster,” the source adds.
The ‘Dasavatharam’ star will be romancing Kajal Aggarwal in this story of a vigilante who takes up cudgels against corrupt bureaucrats and politicians. “It’s a kind of an anti-establishment movie. Kamal is playing an honest and fearless farmer, who mercilessly snuffs out the lives of corrupt people and this film will come in handy for his real-life political sojourn as his party will contest in the next parliamentary elections,” the source concludes.
