“One more thing I have tried to incorporate as an actor, that I should never be seen trying to perform something, I should be been behaving as my character. So when you’re performing a character and when you’re behaving a character, both impact the audience differently. I try to emerge myself into the character, an actor is like water in container, and he automatically takes the shape of mould you put him in”

He said, “Film has its own language, and it is language of expression and emotion. I have done a lot of different language film, so as a medium I don’t see any difference, language maybe different but it doesn’t mean the medium is different as well”
Bollywood is buzzing with biopics’ especially based on political figures and Ashutosh Rana is open to the idea of biopic.
He said, “I think I am influenced by Swami Vivekananda a lot, so I got a chance to do a biopic, I would certainly portray his character on-screen. I would love to do Sri Ramkrishna Paramhans biopic or Neta ji Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekar Azad, and I may not look like Gandhi, but I would love do his biopic as well”
2018 has been remarkable for Ashutosh Rana as his movies like Mulk, Dhadak and Simmba, all fared well at the box-office and now the actor shares a little sneak-peek into his future endeavors.
He added, “I am doing a web-series right now, which is based on Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundela, I am quite open to web-series but my only concern is that the character should be strong and central”
