After more than 15 years, seasoned director Krishna Vamsi is all set to return to B-town and has approached ace actor Nana Patekar for a big-ticket Hindi film which is expected to go on floors soon. “Krishna Vamsi  has  great admiration for talented actor Nana Patekar and when  he approached the latter with a good script, the B-town actor has given his nod,” says an industry source. In fact, Krishna Vamsi wants to do the same script with Nana in Hindi and Prakash Raj in Telugu since it’s a film revolving around ‘matinee idols’, the source adds.

Actually, Krishna Vamsi helmed Nana Patekar in the Hindi film ‘Shakti’ (a remake of Telugu film ‘Antahpuram’) in 2002 and after a big gap is again going to join hands with ‘Parinda’ star for another emotional saga and the shooting will commence from mid-June, if everything falls in place. In fact, Krishna Vamsi is unable to spin box office magic in T-town and has hit a lean patch. Disasters like ‘Mogudu,’ ‘Paisa,’ and ‘Nakshatram’ has pushed his career to the brink. It’s high time for him to bounce back into the reckoning since new-age directors are breathing down his neck.
