Pritam to compose for Brahmastra, Starring Alia Bhatt And Ranbir Kapoor

Here comes the big reveal, veteran music composer and singer Pritam has been roped in to create stunning music score for forthcoming fictional sci-fi drama Brahmastra, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles.

Actor Ranbir Kapoor and megastar Amitabh Bachchan are currently busy with the shooting of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, and music composer Pritam has been roped in for creating music score for the film.

Music composer confirmed the news on social media, as he shared a candid picture with Big B and Ranbir Kapoor during a music session. Sharing a picture from their recent meet up, Pritam captioned it, “My smile says it all, so overwhelmed as this is my first one with Mr @amitabhbachchan sir and back with my favorite #RanbirKapoor. We are all set to roll #Brahmastra.”

Pritam will be composing for Brahmastra. It will be the first time Pritam will get a chance to compose for Amitabh Bachchan, but this is his second outing with Ranbir Kapoor after Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos.

Brahmāstra is an upcoming fantasy film written and directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar. It will also star Akkineni Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia, Divyendu Sharma and Mouni Roy in lead roles.

It is slated for Christmas 2019 release.
