Rahul exploring ‘dark’ comedy

The most-sought-after comedians Rahul Ramakrishna and Priyadarshi, are playing lead roles in the much-talked about dark comedy `Mithai’. The film’s striking posters, songs and the intriguing teaser created a lot of buzz, aver makers. 

Two days ago, `Arjun  Reddy’ fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga announced `Mithai’s release date. The film is scheduled to hit screens on February 22. Debutant Prashant Kumar is the helming the project, while Dr. Prabath Kuma is the producing it. ‘Pellichoopulu’ fame Vivek Sagar has scored the film’s soundtrack. The coming-of-age comedy also features Swetha Varma, Kamal Kamaraju and Ravi Varma in key roles.

After a big gap, a dark comedy is being attempted in T-town since the Telugu audience usually prefer slapstick and situational comedies, Young director Prashant want to break the notion and score a hit with a hard-core and realistic humour.
