Indra Kumar’s  ‘Dhamaal’ got positive reviews from audience but his second film of the franchise ‘Double Dhamaal’ received mixed reviews from audience, when asked Indra Kumar whether he feels that audience didn’t accepted ‘Double Dhamaal’ the way they accepted ‘Dhamaal’, he said, “I agree whole-heartedly that ‘Double Dhamaal’ was good but it was not as good as ‘Dhamaal’ but we have worked really hard that this time, we will not give an opportunity to the audience to complain about ‘Total Dhamaal.”

When asked Indra Kumar how he managed to work with huge star-cast of ‘Total Dhamaal’, he said, “It was not tough for me as they are all very good human beings and they co-operated really well during the shooting of the film. It’s like a dream coming true getting all these actors in a film and I would like to thank Ajay Devgn because he got this project together and it’s because of him, we are here.”

Actor Sanjay Dutt played character of Kabir Nayak in first two installments of ‘Dhamaal’ franchise, when asked Indra Kumar why he is not part of ‘Total Dhamaal’, he said,   “Actually, it would have been lot of fun if Sanjay Dutt was part of this film but unfortunately, when we were supposed to shoot the film, he had date issues and to bring such a huge cast together is not easy so, I had to omit his character in this film and we both are really unhappy about it.”

‘Total Dhamaal’ is an adventure comedy film directed and co-produced by Indra Kumar. It is the sequel to the 2011 film Double Dhamaal and the third installment of the Dhamaal film series.

The film stars Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey, Madhuri Dixit, Esha Gupta and Anil Kapoor, Johny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Boman Irani and Pitobash Tripathi.

The film is scheduled to be released on 22nd February 2019.
