Ranveer Singh Drops Another Hip-Hop hit Mere Gully Mein
After a massive trailer and first chart-buster “Apna Time Aayega” – the makers of Gully Boy are out with second hip-hop number, Mere Gully Mein, which is a rehashed song of Divine and Naez, by the same name.
Ranveer Singh dropped the song on his Twitter profile. He captioned it, “#MereGullyMein Out Now! @ritesh_sid #ZoyaAkhtar @FarOutAkhtar @tigerbabyindia @aliaa08 @SiddhantChturvD @kalkikanmani @kagtireema @ZeeMusicCompany @VivianDivine @NaezyTheBaA @ankurtewari @sezonthebeat #GullyBoy”
The song is composed, written and crooned by talented Divine and Naezy and Sez on the beat, actor Ranveer Singh is also the singer in this song. So this makes the second song from the film, which the actor has crooned.
The video capture the real deal, the streets, people and friendship between the two rappers, which is impressive. Ranveer Singh in his swag and style is impressive. The movie depicts the tale of a major underdog making to the top, so the song is shot mostly in the slums of Mumbai and Mere Gully Mein gives a vivid insight of the nooks and corners and the 'street life'!
Gully Boy is directed by Zoya Akhtar. It also stars Kalki Koechlin in the lead role. It is being co-produced by Akhtar's Tiger Baby and Excel Entertainment productions.
