Shalini keen on T-town?

Actress Shalini Pandey who became an overnight sensation with ‘Arjun Reddy’ went on to do Hindi movies before returning to T-town with a big ticket film ‘118’ opposite Kalyan Ram this year. “Actually, she didn’t cash in on her ‘Arjun Reddy’ success and went on to do Hindi films like ‘Meri Nimmo’ and ‘Helicopater Eela’. 

Later, she got offers from Tamil filmmakers and pinning big hopes on ‘100% Kadhal’ and ‘Gorilla’ barring a special appearance in Telugu movies like ‘Mahanati’ and ‘NTR Kathanayakudu,” the source adds.  Meanwhile, Shalini has cut down on her weight and looking thin after a strict exercise regimen and diet. “Her new look has been well-appreiciated and she is on cloud nine as she always wanted to be on the thinner side,” the source points out.

 With competition  brewing from B-town divas like Pooja Hegde, Kiara Advani, does Shalini, who is more of performer, has a chance in T-town? “She can slip into glam-centric roles with consummate ease as she boasts of pretty looks and talent. It is just a matter of time,” the source concludes.
