Sharwanand to act with a star heroine

  It is known that Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha starrer '96' movie became a blockbuster in Tamil. Touted to be a period love story set in 1990s backdrop, the film has greatly impressed the audience. 

Now, the same movie is being remade in Telugu and Dil Raju is producing the film. We have heard so many rumors about the lead pair of the film and the makers have finally gave the clarity today as they have officially announced the project. As expected, Sharwanand and Samantha are going to play the leads in this film. Premkumar who helmed the Tamil version is going to direct the Telugu version as well. However, he is going to make some changes in the story to match the Telugu nativity. Instead of 1990s backdrop, the Telugu version will set in 2000s backdrop.

Also, sharwanand is not going to play a middle-aged role in this film and both Sharwa and Sam will play young roles. The regular shooting of the movie will go on sets from March.
