Anikta Lokande who debuted with Manikarnika in Bollywood says it is an honor to be praised alongside Kangana.

Anikta interacted with media after the release of his film, Manikarnika. The film collected 8 crores on its opening day and has been appreciated by its audience.

When asked about being praised for Jhalkaribai's performance, Anikta said, "If you work hard and people appreciate you for your work, it feels great. Plus this is my debut film, and to get praised alongside, Kangana Ranaut makes me very happy. I hope the way people are supporting and loving the film now, they will continue to in the coming weeks."

"All the compliments I have received are special and superb because this is my debut. All of them who have watched the film and appreciated my role I am thankful to all of them." she added.

Manikarnika: The queen of Jhansi also marked the debut of actress Kangana Ranaut as a director.

Talking about the release of biopic 'Thackeray' she said she is happy to see both films succeeding on box office.

"It is good that both films are doing so well. Babasaheb Thackeray is Maharashtra's pride and I think all biopics are amazing, these are the people who have been a part of this world and both the films deserve all the love it has been getting. It's up to the audience they can watch whoever's biopic they wish to." she added.

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is co-directed by Krish and Kangana Ranaut and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti.

The film released on 25 January 2019.
