Kajal says no to Gopi?

After sharing screen space with new-age stars like Rana (Nene Raju Nene Mantri), and Bellamkonda Srinivas(Kavacham and Seetha), Kajal Agarwal has reportedly declined to share screen space with seasoned actor Gopichand in his upcoming film with director Sriwass.  “That’s not true. Honestly, Kajal has no dates to spare and couldn’t take up the project, otherwise no issues, ” says a source, close to the actress. 

However, it seems that Kajal wants to work in crazy projects like ‘Bharateeyudu 2’ with Kamal Haasan and not willing to take up routine Telugu action flicks. “She has a meaty role on par with Bellamkonda Srinivas in ‘Seetha’ and also an important role in ‘Bharateeyudu 2’ besides her maiden female-oriented film ‘Paris Paris’. Surely, she is looking for roles with some substance these days,” the source. 

Earlier, the ‘Magadheera’ actress couldn’t spare dates for Ravi Teja film ‘Amar Akbar Antony’ and now she has declined to romance Gopichand on screen. “It is good for Kajal to shy away from heroes who have hit a lean patch because it could dent her career,” says distributor Ramakrishna and adds “working with young actors will make her look younger and also gives her an edge over her peers,” he concludes.
