Rohit Shetty En Route Goa For Sooryavanshi

Simmba is ruling the box-office and filmmaker Rohit Shetty has already his bags and got his team ready and heading to Goa, to kick start the shooting for his next movie, Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role.

Rohit has kick started the journey of his upcoming cop drama, Sooryavanshi. The film was announced through a cameo by Akshay Kumar in Simmba, later filmmaker confirmed it during a chat show.

Now, Rohit is headed to Goa along with the team, and he shared a picture on social media. He wrote, “Mission SOORYAVANSHI En route Goa”

This would mark the first ever outing of Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty, especially in the genre which is ruled by Ajay Devgn with his Singham franchise. Though very little has been revealed about the Sooryavanshi, but it is part of Rohit’s universe, so one could expect a social message driven hard core action drama.

Akshay Kumar has an interesting line-up of release in 2019 – the actor will be seen in back to back big movies such as Kesari, Mission Mangal, Good News, Housefull 4, Mogul and now Sooryavanshi.

As for Rohit Shetty, it is been reported that the filmmaker is also working on next Golmaal instalment.
