Actress Nimrat Kaur says her part in Home Land is such that so loved to be hated, on the sidelines of her recent media interaction.

Nimrat Kaur, who played Tasneem Qureshi, an ISI officer in the fourth season of the award-winning show Homeland, will return for the grand finale eighth installment.

Talking about her show and her role, Nimrat said, “It was a part that so loved to be hated, so that was a damn kick-ass feeling to have as an actor because people came up to me from everywhere and told me, we love to hate you. That was just so exciting”

“That was the fun part of it; of course, it is going to be an emotional time for the entire team. They had a long journey, they have done seven seasons before and it will be the last one and when they asked me to come back, it was a no brainer for me”

Homeland is an American spy thriller television series developed by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa based on the Israeli series Prisoners of War, which was created by Gideon Raff.

The series stars Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison, a Central Intelligence Agency officer with bipolar disorder, and Damian Lewis as Nicholas Brody, a U.S. Marine Corps Scout Sniper.

Nimrat Kaur also added she is excited and honored to be returning to the show. She said, “Very excited and honored to be back to the season finale, you know this is the last season of Home Land and it is actually a lot of fun. I had fun during the first season, when I had gone there I didn’t know the magnitude of Home Land, but after doing it, I realized, how much the show is loved”

Nimrat was last seen with Akshay Kumar in Airlift, which was a historical drama film directed by Raja Krishna Menon.
