A biopic on Chintakindi Mallesham
It seems to be the season of biopics in T-town. After real-life stories of legendary NTR, Y S Rajasekhar Reddy and Ms Lakshmi Parvathi, now the life of Padma Shri awardee Chintakindi Mallesham will be brought on the celluloid. He invented the Asu machine that processes yarn for sarees mechanically, and it is being recreated in a biopic titled ‘Mallesham’.
The Telugu film will be directed by debutant Raj and produced by Adhikari. Popular comedian-turned-hero Priyadarshi is playing the titular role. Ananya, Jhansi and Chakrapani Ananda are playing other supporting roles. The film is currently in the final stages of shooting. The team of ‘Mallesham’ have released the first look of the film at Sircilla two days ago.
Balu Shadilasya is cranking the camera, while Mark K Robin is composing the music. The dialogues are written by famous writer Peddinti Ashok Kumar and the lyrics by Goreti Venkanna and Chandrabose.
