I have become successful enough to be a part of a film like 'Sonchiraiya' says Sushant Singh Rajput
Sushant Singh Rajput gearing up for ' Sonchiraiya ' says he feels confident that he is successful enough to be a part of a film like this.
Sushant interacted with media at a press conference for Sonchiraiya's cast and crew in Mumbai on Friday.
The trailer shows the actors in a difficult terrain speaking in a new language, when asked how was the film's shooting experience, Sushant said, "I read this quote which expresses exactly how I felt which shooting this movie. It says, If you work alot you don't work hard and you don't work smart. I had so much fun working with these guys that I didn't feel like I was working at all.
From outside it may look like we have been working for hours but to me, it didn't feel like it at all. And today I can confidently say that I feel I have become successful enough to be part of a film which has such an amazing cast."
Also present at the Press conference were co-stars Bhumi Pednekar, Ranvir Shorey, Manjoh Bajpayee, Ashutosh Rana, Director Abhishek Chaubey and producer Ronnie Screwvala.
Talking about the dialect used he added, " A filmmaker decides if he wants to be authentic about the language and here Abhishek sir had already told us that we are going to use the actual language in the regional area so we took the time to learn it and by the time we started shooting we knew the language by then."
Shot in the Chambal ravine, ‘Son Chiraiya’ revolves around Chambal dacoits and is set in the 1970s.
The film directed by Abhishek Chaubey will release on 1st March 2019.
