Ravi Teja puts a film on hold?

Update: 2019-02-09 05:30 IST

After duds like ‘Nela Ticket’ and ‘Amar Akbar Antony’, seasoned star Ravi Teja is reluctant to take chances with his career. Although he has agreed to do a film for director Santosh Srinivas but he is not happy with the script and wanted the director to re-work on it. “Ravi Teja has again asked Santosh Srinivas to fine-tune the script once again.

Two months ago, he listened to the same script and suggested some corrections. Unhappy with the betterments, he has urged Santosh to rework on it,” says a source, close to the unit. The much-awaited film is being  produced by Mythri Movies who are also not willing to commence shooting without a water-tight script. “Actor and producer don’t want to take chances with half-baked scripts and like to go on the sets with more confidence and clarity,” the source adds.

Actually, Santosh Srinivas was supposed to remake Tamil film ‘Theri’ with Ravi Teja with the same production house (after Pawan Kalyan backed out). Later, Ravi Teja who tasted a flop with cop story ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’, dropped the plan. He urged the director to come up with a fresh script, but that is also taking time to take shape  due some missing links in the story.
