Veteran Tollywood filmmaker and Producer Vijaya Bapineedu passes away

 Gutta Bapinneedu Chowdary known as Vijaya Bapineedu passes away. He was born on September 22, 1936 in Eluru  and  breathed last on Tuesday morning 12 February 2019  at his residence in Hyderabad.  

Bapineedu was graduated in B.A Mathematics from C.R.R College Eluru. 

He began his carrer as an magazine editorof Vijaya and later  turned Indian film screenwriter and director, known for his works predominantly in Telugu film Industry.

The senior director and producer had long association with Megastar Chiranjeevi as he directed several  block buster action films such as Maga Maharaju ( 1983), Khaidi No 786( 1988), Gang Leader(1991), and Magadheerudu, Big Boss( 1995) Hero( 1984), Mahanagaramlo Mayagadu( 1984).

In 1981 Vijay Bapineedu was  introduced as a director with Money, Money, Money. He directed 22 films and the last one in 1998.
