Lovers Day on a par with Prema Desam says Gururaj

Roshan Abdul Rahoof and Priya Prakash Varrier upcoming film ‘Lovers Day’  (Oru Adaar Love in Malayalam) is all set to hit the screens on Valentine’s Day in the two Telugu states. Directed by Omar Lulu, the film created sensation on Internet after Priya’s wink went viral last year. “With a wink, Priya became a sensation,’ says producer A Gururaj, who is releasing the Telugu version along with fellow producer C H Vinod Reddy under Sukhibava banner. 

“It is a heart-wrenching love story on par with yesteryear blockbusters like ‘Prema Sagaram’ and ‘Prema Desam,” adds Gururaj. “The teaser created a storm world over making Priya Warrier an house-hold name among youth. Director Omar has done a fabulous job by blending love and human emotions in right mix,” he points out. He also described it as a ‘family entertainer’ since middle-aged viewers will recall ‘their adolescent days, while young instantly connect with the romantic saga,”.
