Kartik Aaryan and Disha Patani, Paired in Romantic Comedy

Heartthrob Kartik Aaryan is on fire, bags another movie opposite Disha Patani, to be directed by Anees Bazmee and bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar.

The trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news, “IT'S OFFICIAL... Kartik Aaryan and Disha Patani... New rom-com announced [not titled yet]... Directed by Anees Bazmee... Produced by Bhushan Kumar... Starts mid-2019”

Kartik Aaryan, who is currently promoting his forthcoming romantic drama Luka Chuppi with Kriti Sanon, also has Pati Patni Aur Woh remake in his kitty, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday.

Filmmaker Anees has signed Kartik and Disha for the untitled romantic comedy, which will go on floors in mid-2019. The film will be shot in Mumbai and abroad and this will be Kartik's third collaboration with Bhushan Kumar.

Disha Patani is known for action based movies, such as Baaghi 2 opposite Tiger Shroff, so it will be her first romantic drama. She is currently promoting Bharat, which stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead role. The film is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

Bharat is the most awaited release of 2019; it is an official remake of the 2014 South Korean film Ode to My Father. The film also stars Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover and Shashank Arora with Varun Dhawan in a cameo appearance. The film releases on 5th June.
