Vicky Kaushal who was last seen in the patriotic film URI: The Surgical Strike says after the experience he had while shooting the film, the loss in Pulwama terror attack feels very personal.

URI has still been receiving love from people throughout the country when asked how it feels he said, "First of all, I would like to thank the country and every citizen for supporting URI and sharing your love. And what is going on right now feels like a personal loss because of the journey that we have been through as a team. It's very saddening and you hear and read about it everywhere. This is a very sad time for all of us.

The actor also said it is important that we come together as a nation and society to aid the lost lives.

"If there is any way we can help the family emotionally financially or other we could come together and do it. We have to do it as a nation and society so would like to wish my best to all the initiatives that are taking an active  part. " he added.

The Pulwama terror attack claimed the lives of 49 CRPF troopers last week in Jammu and Kashmir.

Talking about CINTAA and the first year of ActFest, Vicky said, "This is an amazing initiative, I think this is the first fest for actors and not films or directors. This is a great step by CINTAA that is like a family for every actor. And CINTAA is always remembered when there are issues or problems but this is the first time we are celebrating something and I wish them the very best for years ahead."

URI directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala stars Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam. Kirti Kulhari, and Mohit Raina.

The film released on 11th Jan 2019.
