TDP distributes Mahanayakudu tickets for free

Nandamuri Balakrishna's much-awaited biopic of his father has turned out to be a big disaster in his career. While the first part of the film collected around Rs. 20 crores in its total run, the second part Mahanayakudu collected only Rs. 3 cores till now. Overall, the film has incurred a loss of around Rs. 60 crores.

Meanwhile, the members of the Telugu Desam Party are arranging free shows for the public to use it as a campaigning tool for the upcoming elections. Various shows across Andhra Pradesh are being held for free for the members of the party. For instance, TDP president Vijayawada district,  Bachula Arjunudu announced that 50% of the tickets in the district will be allotted for party workers.

He stated that the party would bear the cost of these tickets and hence, the members are advised to use them properly. He also warned that there will be vigilance to check the usage of tickets. Meanwhile, a similar scheme was introduced in Nandigama by MLA Tangirala Sowmya. Other TDP leaders also following the same route to promote the film.
