Dil Raju goes with the original composer for \'96 remake\'

Tollywood's top producer is remaking the Tamil hit film 96 in Telugu, with Sharwanand and Samantha as the leads. This is the first time Dil Raju is producing a remake film in his 16-year-old career. The movie is being directed by C. Prem Kumar, who directed the original.

It is being heard that the Telugu version is titled as Jaanu, but nothing is confirmed by the makers yet. Meanwhile, the latest grapevine suggests that Dil Raju roped in Govind Vasantha as the music composer for this movie. Govind also worked for the original version.

The music track of 96 was one of the main reasons for its success and it acted as a soul for the movie. Thus, Dil Raju decided to go with Govind, without looking for any other option. But it is still unknown whether Govind will re-score the original album or compose a new one for this. We have to wait for few months to know the answer to that.
