Drunk driver jailed

LB Nagar: A 25-year-old auto driver, B Srikanth has been sentenced to jail for two days  and a fine of Rs 2000 was imposed to him by special 6 MM Court LB Nagar for alleged drink-driving case. The alcohol content recorded by the police team from the accused auto driver bearing number TS 11 UB 3767 through breath analyzer was recoded as BAC 212 mg / 100 ml. 

The police officials said that the vehicle would be handed over to the accused once when he serves the sentence of punishment. “I shall ensure that I will not repeat the mistake and also make sure that people around me do not commit this offence,” the accused said.
