4 held in murder case
Hyderabad: The city police on Monday arrested four persons in connection with a murder case which happened on Thursday. The arrested were identified as Kanne Venkatesh Yadav (28), a resident of Golnaka, Kanne Suresh Yadav (40), a resident of Kachiguda, Dayala Raju (35), a resident of Bhagat Singh Nagar and Rajangaru Santhosh Kumar (22), a resident of Moosarambagh.
According to police, K Satish Goud (27) was kidnapped and brutally murdered by his wife’s relatives. Satish married Hima Bindu about seven years ago and the couple has two children of five and three-year-old.
Bindu’s brother and other relatives bore a grudge against her as Satish was not from their community. Last month, Bindu’s sister, whose marriage was fixed, refused to get married and left the home. She was staying in a private hostel in Dilsukhnagar.
On Thursday, Satish along with his wife went to see the latter’s sister at Dilsukhnagar at around 12:30 pm. Bindu’s brother Venkatesh Yadav and paternal uncle, Suresh Yadav reached the spot and kidnapped Satish in an auto.
The accused persons,who believed that Satish was behind Bindu’s sister’s refusal to get married, took him in a car. While the car was moving, the accused strangulated the victim to death using a rope. Later in the day, Bindu was informed that her husband was killed and was thrown roadside. A case has been filed under Section 364, 302 read with 34 IPC.Further probe is underway.
