Cops crack murder case; five held
Hyderabad: The Chikkadpally police on Wednesday solved a murder case which took place on Saturday and found that the inhuman act was the result of superstitions. The police arrested five persons in connection with the murder.
The arrested have been identified as Md Mirza Saddam Hussain (25), Md Irfan, (24), Md Nisar (50), all residents of Golkonda, Md Jafar Khan (21), a resident of Lower Tank Bund and Syed Akram, who sold daggers and resident of Gulbarga in Karnataka State. According to the police, the accused persons were firm believers of supernatural powers. Earlier, they had approached Narsing Rao, the deceased’s father, for treatment of ailments. During the period, they believed that Narsing Rao healed Mohd Nisar from a disease.
“After a few days, Nisar suffered paralysis, who thought Narsing Rao’s son Eswar was responsible for his condition. He believed that Eshwar used black magic to get him paralysed. Then, they hatched a plan to eliminate the deceased, who used to work as an office attendant in the Labour Office, Chikkadpally,” said P Viswa Prasad, DCP, Central Zone. The accused bought daggers from Gulbarga to assassinate the victim. They also hired killers to eliminate Eshwar, who was eventually attacked on Saturday. Eshwar died on Sunday while undergoing treatment in Gandhi Hospital.
