PD Act slapped on FMLC head honcho

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar invoked PD Act against white-collar offender Radheshyam on Friday. Radheshyam was the Chief Managing Director (CMD) of FMLC (M/s Future Maker Life Care) Global Marketing Private Limited.

Radheshyam (34) was a native of Siswal village, Hisar district of Haryana. He was charged of cheating innocent youth, illiterate and retired people under the guise of a Multi-Level Marketing binary scheme in FMLC Global Marketing Private Limited.

He designed an official website www.futuremaker.biz and distributed broachers to attract people with false promotions. He purchased different products from Punjab, Rajasthan and others States at low cost, then labelled them with his company logo and sold them to his members at a very high cost.

He and his trained associates conducted seminars in different States of the country and also advertised through Social media and advertisements in newspapers. Gullible people fell into the trap and became members by paying Rs 7,500. 

The members were promised commission if they invited and helped join two more members as their down liners, they would get Rs 2,500 per month up to two years (i.e., 24x2500=60,000). He cheated about 60 lakh members including unemployed youth, housewives, retired employees and siphoned with the funds on national level and attracted payments of about Rs 3,000 crore. During 2018, the accused was involved in four cases under Cyberabad Commissionerate. He was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on September 7.
