MLM company head held for cheating

LB Nagar: The Rachakonda Cyber Crime sleuths arrested a fiscal fraudster Orugonda Shankar, 40, of Sarthak Digital n Communications Ltd for duping people. He started Day2Dream multi-level marketing company and lured people by offering to double their income in six months. Sandi Yadagiri of LB Nagar invested in Day2Dream being run by Upender. The complainant purchased (21) IDs by investing Rs 11,02,500 on different dates. 

The complainant received amounts in his account in the first two weeks only. When contacted, Shanker bluffed that the server was not working and dodged the issue with some pretext. Shankar, a native of Ramagundam, had previously worked in Singareni coal mines. Due to his ill health he left his job and started real estate business.In all the three companies, he used different amounts by referring two more investors, the chain will go on. 

Shanker told the investors that their deposits would be invested in crypto currency and Bitcoin trading and the investors will get huge returns within six months.  All three companies shut their offices and cheated investors. The police seized two mobile phones and a laptop. The case is being investigated by J Narender Goud, Inspector of Police along with Sub-Inspector M Vikram Reddy and staff of Cyber Crime, under the supervision of S Harinath, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crime, Rachakonda; under the guidance of Nagaraj DCP (Crimes), Rachakonda, G Sudheer Babu, Joint Commissioner of Police.
