Now, 8 SHE Teams to monitor crime under Cyberabad

Hyderabad: The SHE Teams have been increased to eight in Cyberabad to cater to the needs of more number of women and children. Apart from this, SHE Teams keep a sharp eye on the miscreants causing nuisance in public places. The Cyberabad SHE Teams received a total of 139 complaints during first fortnight of January from victims through different means and all complaints have been acted upon and disposed of on merits.

According to She Team, 57 cases have been registered out of which 19 are criminal cases and 38 are petty cases.129 decoy operations were conducted, and 43 awareness programmes were organised, and 16,320 people were addressed. Counselling session was also held on January 25 and February 9, 22 at Women and Children Safety Wing, Cyberabad which was attended by 72 respondents in which 10 belong to 19-24 age group, 23 were 25-35, 28 were 36-50 and 11 were above 50 years age group.
