GITAMITE wins two gold medals

Hyderabad: Muddangula Swathi, second year B.Tech student of GITAM Deemed-to-be University, Hyderabad made the GITAMites proud by bagging two gold medals at the National KickBoxing Championship 2018-19 recently held at Dehradun, Uttarakhand. She won two gold medals in Point Fight and Light Contact kickboxing events.

‘It is a big honour for GITAM. The biggest honour is that, only in a span of six-month practice she bagged two gold medals at National level championship’ said M.Narayana Rao, Physical Director. She has got the eligibility to participate in the coming Asian games at Saudi Arabia and also going to participate in Inter University National Kick Boxing Championship at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, he added.
