Over 1.7 lakh students moved to AP govt schools in 2018-19
Anantapur: HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that policies are to be designed to improve the standard of education at school level. Addressing 10th convocation of JNTU Anantapur on Wednesday, he said that as many as 1,71,242 students migrated from private schools to government in the present academic year. The minister appealed to the students to focus on their career targets.
Ganta Srinivasa Rao advised them to bring good name to their parents and the motherland. JNTU Vice Chancellor Professor S Srinivasa Kumar explained the achievements of the university.
INSA senior scientist Professor B Yagya Narayana, Professor Vijaya Kumar, Professor A Ananda Rao, Professor K Govindarajulu, Professor KB Chandrasekhar, Professor Sasidhar, Professor K Rama Naidu, Professor PR Bhanu Murthi, Professor Giri Prasad, Professor Shankara Sekhar Raju, Professor N Devanna, Professor B Eshwari Devi, Professor P Chenna Reddy were present.
