AIIMS MBBS 2018: Check eligibility criteria

AIIMS MBBS 2018 entrance exam application process has begun. The official website will be conducting the online application process and the last date for applying is March 5, 2018. 

Candidates should check their eligibility for the exam before they apply.

Check out your eligibility criteria below -

Age - Candidates must be of 17 years as on December 31 of the year of admission which indicates that the candidates born on or after January 2, 2002, are not eligible to apply. 

Academic Qualification - The candidate applying for the exam must have passed or is appearing or has appeared in class 12th board examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects. 

Candidates of General and OBC category must have the minimum aggregate of 60% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology while candidates of SC/ST/OPH category the required aggregate is 50% marks.

The candidates with CGPA Grades will need to choose the conversion factor in the application form. 

Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) - All rules and regulations as applicable to Indian nationals will be applicable to those registered under Section 7A of citizenship. For OCI, a certificate to prove their registration under the Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 needs to be submitted.

Foreign Nationals - Nominated by the Government of India, the foreign candidates are required to have an aggregate of minimum 50% marks in subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Also, these marks are to be obtained in the examination eligible for admission to MBBS. 

These candidates will not be required to appear in the competitive entrance test.
