Class XII Economics, Class X Maths exams to be re-conducted: CBSE notice
Keeping in view of the reports regarding the misconduct of certain examinations, the Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to re-conduct the examinations for Mathematics (for Class 10) and Economics (Class 12th).
As per the CBSE notice, the dates for the fresh examinations will be posted on the CBSE website within a week.
Meanwhile, students, parents and teachers are planning to the Delhi High Court seeking re-exam and an independent probe on the series of leaked question papers. They claimed that class X Social studies and class XII biology exam were also leaked among others.
CBSE is yet to clarify whether the re-examinations will be only for the Delhi region or all India. On the other hand, latest reports suggest that Class X Maths paper which is held today was circulated on Tuesday night in other regions as well.
In a bid to sustain the sanctity of the Board Examinations and fairness to the students, the Board has decided to re-conduct the examinations, the dates for which will be announced in due course.
