7 lakh applicants for NDRA jobs

Over seven lakh applications have been received for the vacancies in the departments of disaster management, fire services and special protection force. 

According to Telangana state police recruitment board chairperson VV Srinivas Rao at least 16 per centof the 7,19,840 applicants were women. He said that over 21000 complaints were registered through the helpline provided by the department. 

He said the dates for the examination and interviews would be announced later and added that the exams were likely to be held during August.
