MVJ College of Engineering inaugurates its first year B.E. Courses and Induction Programmes
Bangalore : MVJ College of Engineering had organized an inaugural programme for the first year engineering – academic batch 2018- 19 was held today at the college campus. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Padmashri Dr. T. K. Alex Honorary Distinguished Professor ISRO & Former Director, ISRO Satellite Centre presided by Dr. Nagaraj Sitaram, Principal, MVJCE and Dr. P. Giridhara Reddy, Bangalore Dead, MVJCE.
As a diverse course, Engineering requires not only practical and theoretical knowledge but the aspirants need to go through a lot of understanding on the subject of their specialization. MVJ College of Engineering comes up with the initiative of training the future Engineers rigorously so that they merely do not graduate but also are ready for the industry.
Padma Shri Dr T K Alex, the Honorary Distinguished Professor of ISRO Headquarters, Bangalore & Former Director, ISRO Satellite Centre was invited as the Chief Guest for the inauguration, to encourage and motivate the students with his diverse knowledge, in-depth experience of Space Department and contributions to all Indian Satellites. Being a member of the Space Commission, he accomplished many successful missions, starting from the very first Aryabhata and Chandrayaan-I.
For uplifting the aspiring engineers with his enriching words, Dr T K Alex says “Engineering has always been an integral part of our employment sector. With the ever-changing technology, our future generations should be trained and prepared for the upcoming world. This is a challenge for the education system of our country. It is immensely overwhelming to witness the improved courses that MVJ College of Engineering is offering to our Nation-builders. When on one side, we are considering Mars as the alternate planet for inhabiting the growing population of Earth and changing weather conditions, we should also start giving more efforts for the sustainable development of the current scenario.”
