Insurance Awareness Award – Quiz in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company, India’s leading non-life insurer, launched the 3rd season of their Insurance Awareness Award Quiz with the Semi-Final round in Hyderabad. The team from Kennedy High School won the Semi Final round in Hyderabad city, competing against 30 schools from Hyderabad. The winning team from Hyderabad will compete against 8 school teams from Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Ranchi and Pune in the Grand Finale to be held in Mumbai on 27th September 2018.
Last year, Padma SeshadriBalaBhavan School from Chennai won the HDFC ERGO Insurance Awareness Award Junior – 2017, which was held in Mumbai last year. As a part of the insurance awareness drive and a prelude to the quiz, HDFC ERGO representatives conducted town halls in schools to impart basic knowledge on insurance, thereby helping students understand insurance as a life skill set.
With this drive, HDFC ERGO reached out to more than 6,600 students of class VIII and IX in Hyderabad, covering many leading schools like P Obul Reddy School, Jubliee Gitanjali School, Delhi School of Excellence, Little Flower School, Gowtham Model School& many more.
Talking about the HyderabadCity Semi-Final Round of the HDFC ERGO Insurance Awareness Award Junior - Quiz, Mehmood Mansoori, Member of Executive Management & Group Head, HDFC ERGO General Insurance said, “The HDFC ERGO Insurance Awareness Award Junior – Quiz, is a drive to impart the insurance knowledge to the Generation Z, by making it fun in the form of quiz.
In this 3rd season, we aim to reach out to more than 50,000 students across the 9 cities in the country. We are overwhelmed to witness the participation and preparation of the students in the first Semi-Final Round held in Hyderabad.”
The HDFC ERGO Insurance Awareness Award Junior - Quiz is an awareness drive with the motive to take insurance knowledge among students across the country through an interesting format of a Quiz.
