GO English: an innovative way for kids to learn

Update: 2018-11-03 05:30 IST

New Delhi: Everyone has an idea of what would make the world a better place. Would it be a simple act of kindness, helping others or the environment, or an invention?

For the fifth edition of the TOEFL® Young Students Series GO English! Project, ETS and the TOEFL® program are inviting classrooms around the world to explore concepts that could make the world a better place. Students will practice their English skills while creating a video, radio spot, poster or newspaper announcement that explains their idea.

Commenting on the collaboration, Sarvesh Shrivastava, Co-founder and MD, of Eupheus Learning said, “The TOEFL® Young Students Series GO English! Project is an innovate way for kids to learn English and interact with peers at a global platform. We are excited to promote this in India and will encourage schools to participate whole heartedly. We also have put a final road map to establish 200+ test centres in the country to facilitate the administration of the TOEFL Primary and TOEFL Junior tests, which cater to learners ages 8 and above.”

For this year’s project, “Make the World a Better Place. In Your Words,” classes will receive special rewards for participating — including promotional items, educational materials, a plaque and certificates of achievement — once projects are turned in.
