UPTET result 2018 released, respected candidates can check the result after 2 PM Today

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has released the final result of Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2018 on Tuesday night.

Candidates, who had appeared in the examination, can check their result today (December 5, 2018) in the afternoon, by opening the official site (upbasiceduboard.gov.in) of the Board. The result will be available on the official website till January 7, 2019.Out of 11 lakh (approximately) around 3,66,285 candidates have cleared the UP TET exam 2018.

Around 33 per cent candidates have passed the examination this year. The UPTET Exam 2018 was conducted on November 18, 2018 in two shifts. Around 17,83,716 candidates had to appear for the examination in both the shifts but only 16,73,126 candidates turned up for the examination and 110590 candidates remained absent.Now, the successful candidates would prepare for the teachers' recruitment examination to be conducted in the month of January 2019.

For Primary Level examination, 11,01,710 ( 94.1 per cent) candidates out of 11,70,786 wrote their exam while for the upper primary level 5,71,416 (93.22 per cent) out of 6,12,930 candidates appeared for the exam.

Earlier, the Board had reported the revised and updated answer keys on its website.

However, many candidates are still not convinced with the revised answer keys and they are planning to move to the High Court in this regard.It may be noted that, there are around 12 questions where the answers provided by the board are not in line with the candidates. And they are in progress of collecting the proofs in support of their answers and the will of file a petition in the court.

Steps to Check UPTET RESULT 2018:
Log on to the official site of Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board: 
Upbasiceduboard.gov.in.
2) Click on the link that says "UPTET 2018 results for upper primary and primary teachers".
3) A new page will appear on your screen.
4) Enter your registration number, date of birth and security code and click on submit button.
5) Your result will be displayed on the screen.
6) Take printout of the same for further reference.
