Stellar achievement by Nagarjuna Model School in Kadapa

Three students —V Muni Pranay, A Omkar, D N S Vashista— studying ninth standard in Nagarjuna Model School in Kadapa have been chosen to take part in the second phase of National Aerolympics 2019 being conducted by the Aeronautical Society of India, Bangalore from January 18 to 20. Guided by J Phaneendra, Academic Coordinator of the school, the enterprising boys cleared the first phase of the National Aerolympics 2019 by submitting a project report on “Indian Space Exploration” to the Aeronautical Society of India, Bangalore.

Nagarjuna Model School in Kadapa and Space Central School at Sriharikota in Nellore district were the only two schools from the state and among 22 schools across the nation chosen for participation in the second phase of the National Aerolympics.

The Students are engrossed in preparing a Phase -2 report on“Make in India - applicable to Aerospace” for submission in the three-day second phase of the National Aerolympics. The Kadapa students would participate in five events including audio-visual quizzes on aviation, Static Model Making, project presentation, collage making, cultural programme and surprise event in January. Chairman M SivaSankar Reddy, Nagarjuna Model School appreciated the students and guide.
